We left from Vancouver Wednesday afternoon and traveled "through the night." It was interesting watching the sunset behind us and a few hours later watching the sunrise in front of us. Lyla was great, but as the end of our trip was "past her bedtime"she got a little overtired at the end and wouldn't go back to sleep. We arrived at 8 in the morning Dutch time, which was bedtime for all of us! But it was nice weather, albeit cold. We said goodbye to our neighbours, the Vandeburgts, who were on the same flight as us, and off we went with Tony and Elka to Belgium. The freeway from Amsterdam to Wetteren does not make you think Europe, in fact it reminded me of the Fraser Valley: Freeway through farmland. Anyways here we are, napped and showered and happy, even Lyla after a nap. Poor girl is so upset to not have a full night's sleep. We will see how we sleep tonight! And tomorrow we plan to drive off to Paris overnight, as Tony and Shaun have a meeting with a fellow on Saturday. SO FUN!
I will try upload a picture for you in a bit! In the meantime, Randy and Lorene need to give Seth and Hazel kisses from their momma...and dad too I guess. We Love You! Hope you are having fun with Aunty Lorene and Uncle Randy and listening good! Hugs and Kisses from Mom and Dad and Lyla.
