The Start of Summer (we hope!)

This post has a lot of pictures.  I was only going to put a couple on from this past week, but when I got started looking at pictures, I just had to share from the past couple of months.  There's been so many fun things happen!

First off, we went bowling for my mom's birthday the end of April with my whole family.  It was super fun, and we ended it with going out for ice cream.

Our good neighbours gave our kids Easter bunnies.

We had an Easter dinner/birthday dinner for my mom at my mom's house on Easter Sunday.

I signed Seth and Hazel up for skating lessons, which they loved.  I keep thinking of things I want to do before we move away.

A sweet old friend came to visit with her new baby girl.  We had coffee like old times :)

At Family Fun Night we bid on a craft basket during the live auction.  Hours of messy fun.

Our other neighbour gave our kids rides on his forklift a couple weeks ago.

My parents came over for dinner a few Sundays ago.  This brings back great memories of my dad reading to me through my childhood.

Shaun shaved Seth's hair in preparation for sunny days.  This is halfway through, don't worry, it doesn't look like this anymore.

Lyla literally sat down on a chair with these socks out of the laundry basket and "asked" me to put them on.

We are excited to try a garden this year.  We just got everything planted this past week, so we are hoping it's not too late.  It was a very cold spring, so apparently it should be okay.

My mom, Hazel, a couple other ladies from church, and I went with the seniors in our church on a ferry ride from Tsawassen to Schwartz Bay (Victoria) and back.  It was one of the few gorgeous days in May.

Well there you have it, an update on our lives the past couple of months.

Hope you are all doing well as well!
Love Brenda
