Até Nos Encontrarmos Novamente: A Few More Housekeeping Items

I forgot to include a couple pictures on my last post because my internet was acting wonky when loading them up.

Yes, this man is special :) In the field beside our house that has all the fruit trees there is some sort of outbuilding with a couple odds and ends of construction artifacts. We were thinking we could maybe use it for chickens, which got Shaun excited (see above). Then we heard that the empty field on the other side of our house (that does not belong to us), is not being used for anything in particular and the owners live far away, so our latest thought was we could throw our chickens in there. We are hopeful this could also potentially help control the mosquito population? If you think it is odd to use somebody else's property, it doesn't seem to matter much here. Chickens run free, and there's a horse that likes eating from all the fields along our road, including this one... we're not entirely sure where it comes from.

Also in the fruit field there is a barbecue area. This type of charcoal fireplace is used to barbecue meat for a large amount of people. Once we get cleaned up around here, it would be fun to have a party or two.

In other big news, and strictly for your enjoyment, as there has been a two week lull in the Jonas picture department, Jonas started smiling around two weeks ago. We have obsessively been trying to get a picture of him smiling, so here's an assortment of "almost" smiles. He has not been very cooperative.
